I'm going to be honest on what I think about Dark Harvest. It is completely broken and will never be balanced. Hear me out on this one. I know I'm a filthy bronzie but let me say my part. Dark Harvest can be described in simple terms as, kill stuff, make it easier to kill stuff. This is fine, but that's also how you can describe two champions. Nasus and Veigar. We've already seen the horror of full lethality Nasus with Dark Harvest, and the only reason Veigar doesn't choose Dark Harvest is because the tree has nothing else to help him. Now, you might think, "but but you need to wait until lategame to be really strong!" and you're absolutely right. The problem comes when you put it onto a champion with a strong early game, like say, Lee Sin. I don't know how strong it is because I have never seen a Lee Sin with Dark Harvest yet, but bear with me, it's just an example. Lee's strong early game covers the weaknesses of Dark Harvest very nicely, while Dark Harvest offsets some of Lee's weak lategame. Don't get me wrong, no mastery will make up for Lee's weak teamfighting, but he will now scale much better. Someone at Riot said that they should take Veigar and Nasus' lategame scaling and allow it to be put on every champion in the game. Is it a good idea for some of them? No, of course not. TL;DR Dark Harvest is too strong and will never be balanced. Just give us back Fervor of Battle instead.
